Erica's House
A Family Visitation Center

Erica's House is a support service for parents and children in need of visitation and exchange services. Services provided are:

1. A safe place to pick up and drop off children for exchange between parents.
2. On-site staff or Child Protective Service supervised visitation for families.
3. Parenting Classes will be offered for Court and CPS referred parents.

Procedures:

• The Attorney drafting the court order shall fax the signed court order to Erica's House at 473-4674.
• Each parent must call Erica's House during the hours of operation to make and initial appointment for orientation.
• Each parent must bring the court order and a photo I.D. with them to the initial appointment.

What you can expect at the Orientation Appointment:

1. You will meet the Erica's House staff.
2. You will receive a tour of Erica's House.
3. The rules of Erica's House will be explained.
4. The date for the first visitation or exchange will be set
5. Your questions regarding Erica's House will be answered.

A Family Visitation Center was mandated by the Family Violence Law of 1998. Therefore, the Superior Court of Guam has contracted with Soroptimist International of the Marianas and Soroptimist of Guam to operate Erica's House.

Erica's House, centrally located on Tiyan, has been three years in planning and development. It opened on November 15, 2000 to serve parents and children of Guam needing these specialized services.

Erica's House is project of the two nonprofit Soroptimist Clubs of Guam. Donations, monetary or toys and equipment, will be greatly appreciated. Please call 473-4673 to arrange for your donation.
